A Previous World Space Week to Explore
THEME: Space Unites the World
"Space brings the people of the world together: [for example] Communication satellites keep people close by linking places far apart. Earth observing satellites help keep people safe in case of disasters. And global positioning satellites
help us find our way in this vast world,”

Week of October 9-15
Grade levels will partner to work on a hands on activity in the cafeteria throughout the week. Grade 1 will work with partners to create a rotating model of the sun, earth and moon to learn about orbits and rotation around the sun.
All other grades will use design thinking and problem solving to create a lunar lander.
